Experience EFL/P as a Client, Explore it as a Career
Spend a day (or two) with our herd experiencing the transformation you'll learn to create as a practitioner. Many attendees go on to become a LEAP practitioner.

Not required: Any experience with horses or a therapy background. We work with complete beginners and seasoned professionals alike.

Both the Introduction Day and Horse & Human Weekend cover the foundations of the LEAP Method: structured facilitation, presence-based learning, and the power of horse–human connection. Need only. attend one or the other, not both.
Introduction Day (1 day)
A focused, hands-on introduction to the work.
Horse & Human Weekend (2 days)
A richer, more immersive experience to deepen your understanding and confidence.
Both count as a pre-requisite for the CFI Level 4 EFL and CFI Level 5 Diploma, you only need to attend one.
For the Awards, the intro days are optional.
If you’re unsure which option is right for you, feel free to reach out.

What to Expect
If you’re curious about equine-facilitated practice, whether personally or professionally, the one or two-day experiential days are designed to give you a deep, embodied sense of the work.
What is the refund policy?
Places are non-refundable as we keep our group sizes small. Therefore, please be sure the date will work for you before booking.
What shall I wear?
This is an experiential workshop and will be predominantly outdoors, so we suggest layers, a hat, waterproof clothing just in case and sunscreen in summer. Please wear sturdy boots or wellies.
Is lunch provided?
Please bring a packed lunch. Snacks and hot/cold drinks will be provided throughout the day.
Do I need experience/qualifications with horses to attend this event?
No prior experience or qualifications with horses required. No riding involved.
What if I can’t make it to any of the proposed dates?
Please email the office on info@leapequine.com and we can look at arranging a 1-2-1.
What. happens after the day?
After your intro day, you'll understand:
About 30% of attendees enrol in LEAP training within a few months. The rest stay connected through our newsletter, join future cohorts, or explore the work through our awards programmes.
There's no pressure to enrol on the day. But we will have a 10-minute conversation with you before you leave to understand what resonated and answer any questions about practitioner training.
How horses help us notice what’s beneath the surface
How presence, relationship, and reflection create change

Facilitated exercises grounded in the LEAP Model
Reflective and active exercises designed for insight
A taster of what it feels like to step into this field
Guidance and a chance to ask questions
