UPCOMING EVENT
An experiential workshop for therapists, mental health workers, teachers and any other interested individuals who are curious about the benefits of EFP/L and who would like further insight into how it works.

Both count as a pre-requisite for the CFI Level 4 EFL and CFI Level 5 Diploma.
For the Awards, the intro days are optional.
If you’re unsure which option is right for you, feel free to reach out.

Both the Introduction Day and Horse & Human Weekend cover the foundations of the LEAP Method: structured facilitation, presence-based learning, and the power of horse–human connection.

The difference lies in depth and pace:
Introduction Day (1 day)
A focused, hands-on introduction to the work.
Horse & Human Weekend (2 days)
A richer, more immersive experience to deepen your understanding and confidence.

An introduction to the transformative space between horse and human.
If you’re curious about equine-facilitated practice, whether personally or professionally, this two-day experiential weekend is designed to give you a deep, embodied sense of the work.
Places are non-refundable as we keep our group sizes small. Therefore, please be sure the date will work for you before booking.
This is an experiential workshop and will be predominantly outdoors, so we suggest layers, a hat, waterproof clothing just in case and sunscreen in summer. Please wear sturdy boots or wellies.
Please bring a packed lunch. Snacks and hot/cold drinks will be provided throughout the day.
No prior experience or qualifications with horses required. No riding involved.
Please email the office on info@leapequine.com and we can look at arranging a 1-2-1.
How horses help us notice what’s beneath the surface
How presence, relationship, and reflection create change
How this field can support your growth, clarity, and career
We’ve evolved this from our popular Introduction Day, giving more space, more time, and more practice, but without overwhelming new participants.
1 or 2 full days of hands-on learning with our herd
Facilitated exercises grounded in the LEAP Model
Reflective and active exercises designed for insight
A taster of what it feels like to step into this field
Guidance and a chance to ask questions
Space to consider next steps, whether that's training, self-development, or something else not yet considered.
The Introduction Day or Horse & Human Weekend is ideal if you:
Are interested in equine-facilitated practice but not sure where to start.
Are considering formal training but want to “try before you commit”.
Trained elsewhere but want a formal, recognised qualification.
Simply want two days of reflection, connection, and growth.
No previous horse experience or mental health qualifications are required.
